Chelsea Smith
Exercise Physiologist

About Chelsea:
My decision to become an Exercise Physiologist was sparked from my love for exercise and sport from a young age, where I competed in high performance gymnastics for several years and followed on to become a coach. Over time, I have grown a strong passion for empowering individuals of all ages and abilities to integrate movement and exercise into their lives in a meaningful way to support their health, well-being and long-term quality of life.
I strive to provide tailored services through collaboratively working with each person to help facilitate and achieve their individual goals, whether that be returning to activities following injury or maintaining independence for daily living.
I enjoy engaging with a variety of clientele from paediatric to geriatric with diverse clinical conditions. Although am developing interest in the following areas.
Areas of Interest:
- Chronic disease management across musculoskeletal, neurological, metabolic and cardiac domains
- Rehabilitation (musculoskeletal injury/pre-post orthopaedic procedures, cardiac, neurological, cancer)
- Paediatric exercise physiology
- Balance and falls prevention
