OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY
A Functional Capacity Assessment (FCA) is a report which reviews your participation in your everyday activities both at home and in the community.
10 – 15 hours for report completion
OT will attend your home to assess and make recommendations for modifications.
Time varies for this assessment and will initially include a 60 to 90 minute face to face at your home address followed by a prescription and report as appropriate
An OT will meet with you, likely at your place of residence to review your equipment needs and make recommendations as appropriate. Equipment may be funded by various bodies and your OT can support you with this application.
Time required varies on complexity
A home assessment with an Occupational Therapist can include review of your current access and mobility in your home environment.
60-90 minutes face to face at your home address followed by a report and prescription as needed, app. 2-3 hours total
